Military RN renewal has a narrow special route.
The BRN notice describes a continuing-education and late-penalty accommodation for RNs actively serving in the U.S. armed services during specified active military operations. It is not a universal military or veteran waiver.

Eligible applicants may receive the CE and late-penalty waiver, but the current renewal fee and supporting proof are still required.
The notice also requires that the license was valid when entering service and sets a filing window during service or generally within one year after discharge or return to inactive military status. The BRN says its online renewal system cannot handle this provision.
